Just an early notice of a conference entitled Don Roberto and Scotland - International Perspectives, soon to be announced for 11the May in Stirling. It includes a talk on my research into RBCG and his responses to the Highlanders' Uprising 1882 - 1888. Dubbed the Crofters' War by the hostile newspaper The Scotsman it has surprising international connections and links. More details to follow soon. 8,000 words including references and photo attributions. Publication date to be announced in New Year.
